Rocks and Minerals for Little Eyes is part of the Little Eyes curriculum series, designed especially for PreK–3rd grade students. This engaging study introduces children to rocks and minerals while teaching geology from a Biblical worldview.

Children are naturally fascinated by rocks! This study takes that natural curiosity and turns it into an opportunity to explore God’s creation while learning important earth science and geology concepts.

This study helps children understand the world around them while learning to view what they observe in light of God’s Word. Building that foundation early can help prepare children to think biblically when they encounter questions about science, creation, and the age of the earth later on.

• Over 20 extra-large rock samples – most are 2-2.5 inches across in size, or more.  We make them this large, as this is a great learning tool for the kids, and the samples fit their small hands!  Click on the images above to see the types of samples that are in this kit. Samples include: gabbro, galena, granite, granodiorite, pegmatite, basalt, rhyolite, obsidian, pumice, scoria, gneiss, phyllite, quartzite, slate, shale, sandstone, limestone (3 different samples). Samples are bagged and color-coded.
